Join us in the Race for Equality - Have your say!

Let us know what you think about race equality at UEL by spending 10-15 minutes completing our Race Equality Survey.

Who should complete this survey?

ALL students should complete this survey regardless of race or ethnicity.

Why is it important?

We want to improve the racial dynamics at UEL for the better for everyone. To help facilitate progress towards race equality, we are currently working towards an application for Equality Challenge Unit’s (ECU's) Race Equality Charter (REC).

It is important for us to understand the experience of ALL students at UEL in relation to race equality irrespective of their race or ethnicity.

The feedback from this survey will help:

  • to understand racial inequalities, identify areas for improvement and possible solutions
  • to inform our planning and approach to improving race equality generally
  • to inform our Race Equality Charter application specifically. The application will be consulted on leading up to submission and made available on the intranet.

We want to hear your views on studying at UEL and whether you think there is anything we can do to eradicate racism, advance race equality, and value diversity.

What happens next and getting involved

This survey is just one of the ways you can get involved and we will be communicating regularly to keep you up to date and seek your views on future actions.

If you would be happy to be contacted to be involved further in this work, please leave your contact details at the end of the survey.

Further information is provided at the end of this survey.
